Same as last week lesson but this week, we were asked to do the task individually.

Here I picked subject Science and the name of the experiment is Teeth and Eating. This activity is for kids of age 7 and 8.

1) Please go to this website:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/ks2bitesize/science/living_things/teeth_eating/play.shtml

This experiment is about the 3 different types of animal diet; Omnivore, Herbivore and Carnivore. This experiment will show the differences between them especially their teeth and their foods.

2) Students will be ask to drag each set of teeth to the right mouth. Then click "Eat" button.

If students get wrong answer, this images will appear and click "Reset" button to try again.

If students get right answer, this images will appear.

3)From this experiment, students may know the differences between Omnivore, Carnivore and Herbivore.

Concept Map

Questions:
1. Must Do:
List 2 examples of Omnivore, Herbivore and Carnivore.

2. Should Do:
What are the differences between Herbivore's teeth and Carnivore's teeth?

3. Must Do:
Can you find out how Omnivore's, Herbivore's and Carnivore's teeth are adapted for the different foods they eat.

Week 12 - Virtual Experiment

Task Given: Group in pairs. Find a video about science experiment. Explain how to use it. Do the concept map and prepare 3 questions fro the students to answer.

Group Members:
Shaera binte Remli 10D0003
Hjh Siti Noor Mazrah binti Hj Suhut 10D0021

Name of experiment: Health and Growth

1) Please go to this website:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/scienceclips/ages/6_7/health_growth.shtml

This experiment is about keeping healthy and growth. To keep healthy, we need enough water, food, regular exercises and enough rest.

2) The student will click "Start" button to keep Ben healthy by providing him with what he needs.

3) From this experiment the students have to keep Ben healthy according to his needs by clicking the four basic needs button. If they does not click the basic needs button (water, food, exercises and rest) , it will show what will be happen to Ben.

Week 5 - Euclidean (Square Pyramid)

This is another task given during my maternity leave. It is about designing a pattern/shape by using Euclidean Reality Software. We were asked to download the software from => www.e-journal of education.com. Then design the pattern/shape that we want and prepare questions according to student's ability (Must Do, Should Do and Could Do).

Here I draw a pattern of Square Pyramid. This is in the Year 7 syllabus, Topic: Measurement.

Figure 1

Figure 1 shows a square pyramid. AB is 10cm and its slant height,VX is 13cm.

Questions:

1. Must Do
What is the area of the base of the pyramid?

2. Should Do
Calculate the height, VM of the pyramid.

3. Could Do
What is the volume of the pyramid?

Week 11 - Video on Conversion of Units, Concept Map and Questions.

Task given (Individual Work)

Find one video or simulation related to our teaching. Do the concept map and post questions (Could do, Should do and Must do).

CONCEPT MAP ON CONVERSION OF UNITS

Questions:
1. Must Do:
Convert 8 Kilogram(kg) to Gram(g).

2. Should Do:
Convert 0.512 Kilometer(km) to Millimeter(mm).

3. Could Do:
